Best Vets in Toronto

By Faith P.

Best Vets in Toronto: I’m sure you, along with most other pet owners, want the best for your four-legged friends. Have your home be comfortable for them to live in, have the food they like, and have the nicest toys you can get. It doesn’t stop there, you also want them to have the best medical care. Zara at Cat Sitter Toronto Inc is impartial to her Vet Birch-dan Animal hospital, who recently helped her through Fang’s surgery

Knowing you want the best we compiled this list of Toronto’s Best Vets

Leslieville Animal Hospital

Leslieville Animal Hospital has been caring for family pets since 2007. The staff provides compassionate and responsible healthcare. This animal hospital is a full-service facility located near the corner of Queen and Jones; you can easily take your pet by streetcar. They have multiple services, with all the staple medical and surgical procedures and other helpful services like puppy and kitten wellness plans.

Dundas West Animal Hospital

Dundas West Animal Hospital is in the High Park neighbourhood. One of the best animal hospitals in the city due to its large list of on-site services. It offers all the necessary services like wellness exams, dentistry, surgery, and radiology, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, vaccinations, nutritional and behavioural consultations. The clients they take are mainly cats and dogs, and it is highly recommended for them. Another plus of this animal hospital is that there’s also a cat adoption centre under the same roof if you want a new addition to your family.

Sherbourne Animal Hospital

The animal hospital is located in the heart of downtown Toronto. Sherbourne Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary medical facility that provides diagnostics, prevention, dental care, nutrition, surgery and pharmacy. They implement individualized care for your pets. They work to provide excellent veterinary medicine in a caring and professional environment so that your pet gets the best care they can provide.

Veterinary Emergency Clinic

The Veterinary Emergency Clinic is located in downtown Toronto at 920 Yonge St. If your pet needs medical attention immediately or a more serious procedure, this emergency clinic is your best bet. It offers ophthalmology, neurology, oncology and many other services regular veterinary hospitals can’t provide. It operates like a human hospital, where emergency and critical care services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays. For the major surgeries, you would need a referral from your primary vet.

The Jameson Queen Animal Hospital

This animal hospital is located at 1516 Queen Street West in Parkdale on the Northside just west of Jameson. They provide their services not only to dogs and cats like other animal hospitals, but they also offer services for smaller mammals like rabbits, gerbils, hedgehogs and more. They provide guidance for the needs of the pet the whole family; with transparent and thorough information to help make the best decisions. Few animal hospitals offer services for animals other than cats and dogs, so this is a great place to go if you have small mammals as pets.
