To say I love cat’s is an understatement, I also love movies! I’m constantly watching movies, I have always loved the stories told through film. Today I thought why not give you my list of the Top 5 Cat Movies
Top 5 Cat Movies:
5.The Secret Life of Pets
Synopsis: The quiet life of a terrier named Max is upended when his owner takes in Duke, a stray whom Max instantly dislikes. although this movie centers around the main character Max the Terrier, the cartoon felines in this movie are worth watching.
4. Hocus Pocus
Synopsis: A curious youngster moves to Salem, where he struggles to fit in before awakening a trio of diabolical witches that were executed in the 17th century. This is not per se strictly a cat movie however Binx the cat deserves to be on this list. A great Halloween movie and a great movie to show that Black Cats aren’t all bad.
3.The Adventures of Milo and Otis
Synopsis: The adventures of a young cat and a dog as they find themselves accidentally separated and each swept into a hazardous trek. Another great movie that shows us the connection between house pets and That Dog’s and Cat’s can get along.
2. Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey (A remake of The Incredible journey 1963)
Synopsis: A fun-loving American bulldog pup, a hilarious Himalayan cat, and a wise old golden retriever embark on a long trek through the rugged wilderness of the Sierra Nevada mountains in a quest to reach home and their beloved owners. This is one of my favourites, I’ve watched it many times. I love the camaraderie that is displayed between these animals
1. The Aristocats
Synopsis: With the help of a smooth-talking tomcat, a family of Parisian felines set to inherit a fortune from their owner try to make it back home after a jealous butler kidnaps them and leaves them in the country. Of course, Aristocats makes the list! Who doesn’t remember watching this cartoon classic as a kid, my favourites were the alley cats and of course the swinging music.
