Cat Groomers in Toronto: At last Spring is here. I don’t know about you but I could use a haircut. Unfortunately for us Salons are shutdown, luckily for our pets Groomers are open. Does your kitty need a grooming?

Why Groom a Cat?

To begin, you may be asking why does my cat need grooming? I thought they did that themselves? While yes its true that cat’s are skilled groomers and often spend hours cleaning themselves, sometimes they need our help. Did you know that cats have an average of 130,000 hairs covering their body?

Given that fact I could see Cats with long fur or thick coats benefiting from having regular trips to the groomers. Getting your cat that “Lion Cut” will not only make them look super cute, but it can help with several issues like hot spots, matted fur, and generally help them stay cooler and comfier.

1. The Fur Factor: Located in the East end of Toronto. They have specific Cat days for grooming. Their website says they are not accepting new cat clients at this time, but it might be handy to keep their info. 2. A+ Mobile Pet Grooming: I love the idea of this! Groomers come to you so your pet doesn’t get stressed with transportation. They have a 4.7 star rating from Google and service more of North York and areas north of the city. 3. The Spaw Boutique: Located in Toronto’s King West Village and offers grooming services for cats and dogs. With a 4.5 star google rating they offer a variety of cat grooming services. All of their groomers are Certified Feline Master Groomers. https://www.spawboutique.com/cat-grooming
4. BooBoo Pet Grooming Services: Firstly I love the name of this company. This company is located in Etobicoke on the lakeshore. They do offer a whole menu of Cat Spa items. They have a 4.7 google star rating. They also offer gift certificates, this would be a great gift to pet owners in the area. https://www.booboopetgroomingservices.ca/services
5. Anro Cat Grooming: and rounding out these 5 choices is a company that solely focuses on Cats.  From the look of their website they only offer a lion cut, but it does include nail trimming, and ear/eye cleaning. They have a 5 star review with Google. https://www.anrocatgrooming.com/

What to Remember:

The important thing about choosing a groomer is do your research! Always make sure to ask questions and understand what is included in each service. Try to find one who both you and your cat are comfy with. Ultimately a trip to the spa is what we all desire and its important that your pets feel that way about their Groomers too.
